Wild Olive Guest House, Pringle Bay, a stay you’ll never forget

The tranquillity of nature
Pringle Bay can be found perched on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, nestled between the Buffels River mouth and a small peninsula, The Point, about an hour’s drive from Cape Town, South Africa. Included in the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, Pringle Bay is part of one of the most diverse and lush floral kingdoms to be found on earth and this is where you will find the tranquil Wild Olive Guest House owned by Gloria and Peter Langer.

Award-winning cuisine
Set in a lush indigenous garden, with the beach within walking distance, Wild Olive Guest House offers guests a luxurious stay in one of their three double bedrooms. The award-winning cuisine prepared by Peter is served in the upstairs dining area overlooking the bay and the gorgeous African sunset. When you’ve had your fill of exploring all the area has to offer, you can immerse yourself in the cool waters of their secluded rock pool, or pamper yourself with a hot stone massage.

A rich variety of activities
With its Mediterranean climate, this area is the playground of the southern right whale and, when not marvelling at the frolicking whales, visitors can enjoy river rafting, hiking or stargazing on balmy summer nights. Do some crayfishing or explore the craft shops. You’ll have the opportunity to appreciate our local penguin colony, the gorgeous fynbos and may even spot a klipspringer on the mountain if you’re lucky! Wild Olive is ideally situated for day trips to wine farms, golf estates and natural hot springs. Peter and Gloria will suggest just the activity you’re in the mood for.

Wild Olive is the perfect base from which to explore the many wonders of this rich and diverse area, from the craggy mountain slopes and rivers to the sparkling sandy beach and the rolling waves of the Atlantic, all rich in rare animal and plant life.

You’ll always remember your stay at Wild Olive, and you’ll be back for more!
