Gloria and Peter Langer, your proud hosts, are highly acclaimed restaurateurs, who will pamper you at every meal with exquisite gourmet cuisine, and guarantee a relaxing and rejuvenating stay.

Beachcomber Restaurant, Camps Bay
Peter came over to South Africa in the seventies from Vienna, Austria. He met Gloria in Cape Town and, combining their talents and love of cuisine, they opened their first, Beachcomber Restaurant in Camps Bay, which they successfully owned and ran for fifteen years.

Leinster Hall Restaurant, Gardens
After taking a short sabbatical, they opened Leinster Hall Restaurant in Gardens, rated as one of Cape Town’s top ten restaurants. After six years, they made the decision to leave the big city and embrace the quiet and calm of their cottage in Pringle Bay, where Peter made the decision, after six months of tranquil bliss, to get back into the kitchen . . . and so Wild Olive was conceived.

All meals at Wild Olive are lovingly prepared by Peter using fresh ingredients – he will even prepare the crayfish you caught yourself! Peter, an award-winning chef, is one of the few recipients of the Portfolio Collection Chef’s Hat Award – the Good Food Accolade – for inspired chefs who create sublime food.

Peter and Gloria are living their dream.
