Wild Olive boasts three luxurious en suite double bedrooms. They have been individually decorated in a perfectly balanced combination of style and comfort. Each room boasts magnificent sea and mountain views, so you can relax on your private terrace on comfortable recliners and enjoy the breathtaking view while being serenaded by the local birdlife.
The outdoor showers are a real hit – there’s nothing quite as romantic as showering with the sun sipping at the droplets, or under the glittering night galaxy. For those rare chilly nights, the en suite shower will suffice.
Gathering places
The open-plan guest lounge is a cosy and quiet place to relax, with an open fireplace for those blustery winter days. The doors lead out to the refreshing pool and access from your private terrace.
Upstairs, the dining room boasts breathtaking views of mountain and sea. Watch the whales frolic in the waves while you breakfast or, as you dine, enjoy the spectacular African sunset, to be followed closely by the twinkling Milky Way.
The garden is fully indigenous boasting a colourful range of local fynbos. |

The yellowwood tree, prolific in this area, is South Africa’s national tree. It has been present in this part of Africa for more than 100 million years.

Two pairs of fish eagles breed regularly at the Bot River Lagoon.

The hardy Cape beech tree is commonly found in this area. Its Xhosa name, isiQwane sehlati means ‘protea of the forest’ referring to the clusters of leathery leaves at the end of the branches.
